The Merchants Lab was founded in Bangalore in 2025 by a group of active ecommerce entrepreneurs who were frustrated by one thing: every ecommerce course they found was either outdated, US-focused, or pure theory with no real outcomes.
We'd all scaled our own stores — running ads, negotiating with suppliers, handling GST, managing COD returns — and we knew exactly what Indian sellers actually needed to learn. So we built the institute we wish had existed when we started.
Every mentor at The Merchants Lab runs an active business. Every module is battle-tested on real stores with real Indian customers. Every program ends with a live store that sells before the student graduates.
We're based in Bangalore — India's startup capital — and we serve students online across the country. Our mission is simple: turn aspiring entrepreneurs into revenue-generating merchants.
Every student who completes a Merchants Lab program will have a live, revenue-generating store before their final session.
